Prayer Tip for May 02, 2021
A Time to Pray. Jesus often rose early in the morning to pray. He was our best example with his life of praying often and about everything. Even the Son of God as a human being also, needed to pray! Many find the most effective way to give God our best is to make it prayer time first in each day. That’s when we’re fresh and rested, that’s before we make mistakes, that helps us avoid mistakes and sin. Whatever is your personal best time, it’s important to have a plan to spend time with God in prayer. Many times, if we fail to plan, we plan to fail. In Luke 18:1 Jesus said, “Men ought always to pray, and not to faint.”
Make Prayer A Priority
From the beginning of Generations Church, we have made it a priority to seek God first in prayer. We understand the importance of prayer both as individuals and as a community of believers. While we encourage individuals to engage in daily prayer we have also created opportunities to engage in prayer as a community. There is no greater need in the life and ministry of a church, and we invite all of you to partner with us.
