About Trunk or Treat

If you are a first time guest or new to the Generations Family and are wondering what Trunk or Treat is all about, that's okay.  Here are some common questions with helpful answers for you and your family.  We hope you will join us and invite a friend or two.

What is Trunk or Treat

There are three basic parts to a Trunk or Treating.  The first part of the event is volunteers decorating the trunk of a vehicle.  (If you'd like to enter a trunk see volunteers below.)  The second part of the event is the is the treat,  in which guests go from vehicle to vehicle for candy.  This is free for everyone in the community!  The third part is there will be a live band playing for you to enjoy.   Snacks will also be available.

How does Trunk or Treat Work?

During Trunk or Treat, adults decorate the back of their cars, load up on candy, and come sit in a parking lot for kids to "trick or treat" from car to car.  The adults get to socialize while seeing all the cute and creative costumes.

What is the protocol for COVID?

The event will be held outdoors.  Our snack and beverage servers will be wearing gloves and masks.  Everyone will be required to wear a mask, including trunk sponsors.   All candy is wrapped.   Subject to change per county health guidelines.

are you ready to help?

To put on an event like this it does require a lot of help and volunteers.  See the FAQ about volunteering or sponsoring a trunk at this event below.

Voluntary Registration Form

If you would be interested in donating a bag(s) of candy or items for our prize baskets for this event, we would be very grateful.  You can either drop it by the church on Sunday mornings at 10 am or contact Jayne Horton to schedule other options for delivery.

If you would be interested in sponsoring a trunk, please click on the volunteer button at the top and bottom of this page.   If you need some inspiration, HERE are some ideas from   You can also find kits online as well.

As a trunk sponsor you will need to bring several large bags of wrapped candy to handout.  More details will follow once you complete the volunteer form below.

We have several areas that we could use your help!  We need roamers, runners for snacks and candy, set-up and taken-down, trunk check-in, and more!  Please fill out the volunteer below and we will be getting in contact with you soon.  Please note everyone will be required to wear a mask
