Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World
September 18 to December 11, 2019
Join Joanna Weaver as she explores how to blend intimacy with Jesus and service for Him in the midst of our busy lives. Joanna invites us to recognize that each of us has some Mary and some Martha within. Every day, a part of us wants to leave our tasks and soak up time with Jesus. Yet we also know we can't abandon our responsibilities. Come discover the best of your Mary and Martha desires as you strengthen your relationship with the God who invites you closer.
To Live Is Christ, Philippians Study
January 8 to March 25, 2020
The story begins in Philippi where Paul introduces three individuals that were all enslaved by the kind of things that we often choose over the gospel: Lydia, the Business Executive, The Little Slave Girl, and The Hard Working Jailer. Their lives portray dysfunction and emptiness, but are totally transformed by the Gospel. True joy and Christ's love begin to live within them, giving them a life of purpose. In fact, Paul himself was enslaved and then by God's grace and mercy he could pen these popular and profound words: To Live is Christ and to Die is Gain. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Faithful, Abundant, True: Going Deeper Still
April 15 to May 27, 2020
Arthur teaches from Hebrews teaching of God's faithfulness and a challenge
to believers to be faithful in difficult times. Priscilla Shirer teaches
from Ephesians 3:20-21 on God's abundance. A fundamental basis for every
believer is the absolute reality that God can do whatever He chooses to do.
God's ability empowers our faithfulness. Priscilla points to the essential
trust in God’s ability. Beth Moore teaches on the topic of discernment. In
these difficult days it is absolutely essential that we learn to trust the Holy
Spirit to enable us to determine what is true and what is false. While these
three women each speak on the distinctive topic the Holy Spirit had led them
to teach, the messages result in a marvelous blend.
